the v-strom, its a much nicer ride but the xr is a lot of fun off road

thanks, i want to ride up to the PA grand canyon but would like to know about places to fish on the way or wile im there any info to pass along? you and crash need to go scratch that itch!!
i live just 13 miles fro raystown lake so im going over tonight and fish for stripers and lake trout.

I took a trip with my Dad around Pa. and found a beautiful stream up Rt44 & 414 above Williamsport to Slate Run . The road is great on a bike ( multiple S curves ) and the scenery is classic Orvis flyfishing . In Slate Run you'll find a cool country store ( by the bridge ) , that has the biggest Orvis fly shop I've ever found . Across the bridge is a small motel and restaurant to stay if you need it . Then go north and catch Rt. 6 east to the Grand Canyon . Good luck and watch out for the deer & bear up there .

if you like to fly fish you need to try savage river down in maryland
i grew up fishing there. thanks for the info on the canyon i will be going there some time soon

Thanks Camo , I like just about any kind of fishing . But savage river sounds like a nice place to go visit . I'll have to do a net search and check it out .
