I use the gold old fashioned ratchet straps. 2 on the front and 2 on the rear. Never had a problem and have taken them roughly 400 miles with just that. The problem is alot of people don't squash the suspension. They just get the straps tight then when you bounce down the road the suspension gives and the straps come off. I would literally have guys standing on it to get the suspension down as far as possible.

The tire straps seem like a decent idea without too much work. That other thing looks like a pain in the a$$

Whelp, made it across PA on that crappy turnpike in bumper to bumper traffic using the fastraps, and so far so good! I am going to love these things! They were easy to install and they are very easy to use. They held my machine tight the whole way. Tomorrow to get to camp, I have to do a bit of offroading so we'll see how it does then. When I get back from the weekend, I will post a proper review with pics.

I love them! They were easy to install and set up and they held tight the whole weekend. Machine never moved.

My only concerns is if I ever need to unthread the straps, rethreading them without removing the deck plates will be a pain.

Since I use my trailer exclusively for hauling my single ATV, I don't think that will be an issue.

I am able to have my ATV strapped down in about 30 seconds once the straps were set. I am very happy with this purchase and glad I didn't go with the thing in the original post.
