Anyone using this? http://www.qwikreleasetiedown.com/It seems like a cool idea, but it might be one of those solutions looking for a problem. Sure, straps are annoying, but are they 300 dollars annoying? Not sure, but I am intrigued and kinda want one of these. Thoughts?

That's for the guy that had the misfortune of having an atv bounce off a trailer While going down the road. Till then ratchet straps work for me.

I would go with ther straps that go around the wheels like tow trucks use. rrudzi has em and likes em. I am going to make them my next investment. This looks great if you have one trailer that you only use for your quad, and always the same quad in the same place. For me it wouldnt work. Good idea though!

That is also what I am leaning towards, at a much lower cost. This would work for me because I just use a little 5x8 wooden deck trailer for my sportsman xp. It has rails and a ramp, so I think this might be over kill. I dunno, 300 just seems spendy for a tie down system.

This is what I think I am going to go with. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/fastrap-tie-down-kit.aspx?a=2909351/3rd the price and less obtrusive. So, it might take 2 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Big whoop.

Well I ordered up a set of 4 of those wheel straps. 2 probably would have been enough but I know some places require as many straps as you have tires, so I figured for 100 bucks, why not? They look fairly easy to install according to the directions.
I will post a review since they should be here in time for my trek out east this coming weekend.

I use these tire bonnets, they work very well as long as your tie down points are in front and behind your tires
