We could not come to an agreement for this years reunion with Fishers ATV World.

The exact words from then is:

"Tom,

Unfortunately we are going to have to pass on the opportunity this year. This is a pivotal year for us and we have sold out every major sponsorship. With the demand this high, we have to take the folks that are paying cash. We are now down to our final booth. I am sorry to hear that you will be unable to attend.

Thanks for your understanding"

And they asked if we did attend not to advertise our ATV site at the reunion, also quoted from their email:

"If you would like to come as an attendee only, we just ask that your refrain from Promoting within the campsite area."

It seems as though everyones perception that Fisher is in it for the money, and not for the love of the sport, is coming to reality now.

I am very disappointed in my communications with them.

There is still a very bad taste in my mouth from last years event when then doubled the size of the Mud Club party and asked me to cover the extra beer and soda and they would settle up with me and never did, and also tried to stiff my caterer for their half of the bill when the time came to pay up... It was only after they threatened to send it to the District Magistrate that Fishers paid their bill.

When I asked them about covering the additional beverages from last years Mud Club party we sponsored, or at least discounting our booth space by that amount for this year I got:

"In all fairness you had exposure 2 ½ times the estimated attendance you were originally promised. We assumed you handled the beer as a courtesy."

Are you serious... You think you drew a much larger crowd and improved my visibility by not even including one of our logos during the 3rd Annual Reunion Show... Yeah... THANKS !

So now I am out $500 for the additional beverages from last year, and they wanted $1000 for a booth for this year with no discounts period !

All I can say is that unless something changes...

Maybe you need a bunch of campers, trailers, trucks, cars, inclosed trailers, quads, and SxS's rolling around there with stickers plastered all over them of paatving.com. LOL!!! Fisher put a cap on the mud club party at 500. Its his effing club and he advertises the mud club party as a benifet to be a member. WTF.

I agree. The best way to show our disapproval is NOT to attend that weekend. I think that would be HILARIOUS for them to show up and have hardly any riders there...hell, I'd pay money to see that!!!

Rock Run is still a sore spot with me anyways, so I really don't care if they lost members because of a boycott.

never saw the show, but i met the guy at carlisle a few years ago, seemed like an arrogant a$$ then.
i INTENTIONALLY avoid venues when there is a big event going on. i don't go to Rock Run or anywhere else to see a TV star, i go to ride and when there are 25000 people there, you aren't doing any riding.

Couldn't agree more, Hammer07. Call me a wet blanket, but I have no interest in the huge crowd events either. I always avoided Quad Fest as well. I barely have the patience for group rides, let alone riding with 1000 other wheelers!

I personallly like these big events. They serve as a wannabe magnet
leaving some better, more open riding elsewhere. They also suck up
them pot bellied, yuppies on them side x sides.

We have a large group going. Its a fun event and I love Rock Run, this is the only time I get to ride there. This will be our 3rd year going. I have met a lot of great people at this event over the last 2 years. The trails have never been crowded the 2 previous trips there. If anyone else is going and you want to meet up pm me.

The best way to see a person for who they are is to let them show you who they are. This guy has shown his true colors, in an unadorned and classless fashion. To para-phrase, he basically said, Thanks for last year, you didnt read between the lines, sorry I didnt lube you first, but hey you should have seen it coming.

He will crash and burn soon enough, and when he does I say we all line up and watch the crash and burn. Until then I say we make his life as Paatving.com filled as he can stand.

I guess some people just really don't have anything better to do with their time rather than bash on probably one of the nicest celebrities you'll ever meet. A lot of you all show jealousy towards him.. it's almost like none of ya'll are happy with your lives so you must bash on someone who has made their dreams become a reality. As far as the tour bus goes - what celebrity that travels on TOUR to different states and cities doesn't have a tour bus? Wait a minute for the answer.. oh, that's right, all of them do. Most of them even have private jets, should we complain about that? Ya'll have WAY too much time on your hands. Here's a fact for you all.. anyone who watches the news, professional football, goes to their favorite singer's concert, etc. you all are giving them money so why are we crying here?!

As far as the Mud Club cap goes - what event have you gone to that has over 5,000+ attendees that holds a party (food, beverages, and prizes) for everyone? Here comes the answer.. NO ONE. Any event you go to that has a high number of attendees is going to have a cap of a certain number. Clearly, that statement made by Trail Ranger wasn't thought through. That's just clear common sense there!!

What celebrity do you know that will sign your shirt, atv, etc. for free? Let's wait another minute for that answer.. wait, here it comes.. oh, that's right, Brian Fisher does. He is the most down to earth, hilarious, and caring celebrity you'll probably ever come in contact with.

Gym Rat - I don't personally know Tom or Brian and have never met either one. I guess I just don't understand why a website such as ATVINGPA.COM which supports the same sport Brian is also promoting and up until now was supporting him; is not allowed to advertise at his reunion unlees they pay like a vendor. It's not like he is going to be riding an ATVINGPA.COM ATV with ATVINGPA.COM assesories or going to ATVINGPA.COM pay to play recreation location. This site only sells knowledge and love for this sport. I do watch Brians show and I am sure he worked his but off to get were he is.

I do understand the cap limit on the Mud Club party and it says so on his website. Im also sure there will be people not seeing that and be disapointed when they get there late from travel. I also know he put a cap on the kids ride also; As I have seen a few dissapointed parents and kids already in that situation on his facebook page.

I also don't care if he rides around in a tour bus; good for him. I am not jealous.

This is his Gig and can do whatever he wants. But I Just don't get it. Maybe everyone with campers needs to remove their Disneyland stickers from there campers because it would be free advertising. Or maybe Artic Cat ATV's should not be allowed to attend, because it would be free advertising for Arctic Cat.

Obviously Brian only supports the people that pay him for advertising. But hey that is the business he is in and that is how he makes his living. Good for him!!

I do see advertising on this site I am not sure were the money goes for it and its none of my business to know; but I assume alot of it goes to pay for the maintenance/hosting fees of the site. Some of these Vendors are dealers for some of Brians payed advertisers.

I peronally would think that even the big vendors would want a website like this advertised at the reunion as most of us share comments about their products.

I love this sport and only wish the best for anyone in it including Brian and Tom.

I wish something could be worked out as it would be benificial for both partys.

To answer your accusations of jealousy on our part, I can only speak for myself when I say that being jealous of a pompous man with an inflated ego is absurd. It's best not to put people on pedestals, Gymrat, they tend to fall.

I do know his show and find it to be sophmoric. I have spoken to many people who have attended his reunion, and are members of his website. In general most of the people Ive spoken to enjoy the party, and each other, but there is quite a bit of talk about the good things and more so of the negative qualities of its host.

Being a "celebrity", as you put it, means in no uncertain terms that you open yourself up to criticisms and critique from anyone who sees what your are known for doing. If for some reason your skin is not thick enough to handle this, then please let someone else handle his public relations.

Enjoy the reunion, and had I ever been a fan of Mr Fishers, I can say he would have lost me as one, due directly to this situation.
