my fan seems to run quite a bit. i do understand that its been "fires of hell" hot lately. i went from a air cooled bruin to this new liquid 450 so im not used to it.
i took the panels off b/c i thought maybe the motor was mud caked
i found a little but nothing to worry bout i pressure washed it anyway, rads clean too spray it after every ride
do theses things just run that hot?

I've got a 700 Grizz, my buddy rides a 550 Grizz. His fan runs way more than mine. Seams like his fan is on everytime we take a rest stop while riding.

Can you see light through your rad fins front to back? Sometimes pressure washing your rad at too high a pressure will bend the fins and block the air flow. Just a thought.

your Grizz should have a temperature light on the dash. is it on? the fans do run a good bit, especially when its this hot out.

you could always add a temp gauge, but unless you do alot of mudding, or other low speed, high load riding it's probably not necessary

rad is clear, in good condition washed with lower pressure
just seemed like it was running alot but the temp light never came on
i guess it just a quark of a 450
