does anyone have a grizz450?
what kind of mileage do you get from a tank of gas ?
usually we ride around 30 miles and i burn around 1/2 a tank
we went to rock run saturday and rode 40 miles and both of our quads where pegged at E didnt hit reserve but 10 miles =1/2 a tank?
my bike is a '10 w/ 150 miles
the guy i rode with is a '07 600-700 miles

i usually see around 70-80 miles from a tank of fuel on my 660 and 550.
you also have to consider the type of riding you're doing. if there is alot of technical stuff, you will burn more gas than you will riding on, say railroad beds.

i have noticed a few times that my fuel gauge reads empty butu when i refill the tank it only takes 3 gallon, but its a 5 gallon tank.
i just saw a service bulletin from general motors that the ethanol in the gasoline is causing fuel gauge problems in their cars. maybe it is affecting our quads, too.

My 2011 700 Grizzly gets about 18 mpg consistantly excluding snow rides. Recently did 88 miles with it flashing intermittsntly and it took just under 5 gal to fill up meaning I had about .33 gal left. Did have a fuel pack on just in case.
Have a CDI box< UNI filter and a power tip on exhaust.. other stock Grizzlys 550s and 700s also made the ride w/o refueling

Man, 18mpg seams pretty good. i've got an 08 700 that consistently gets 10mpg no matter how i ride. Doesn't matter if Im running 4wd all day or not.

im trying to get a feel for things on this bike yet
we really havent done LONG rides yet
we did 45 miles intermittently last sat but i think thats the longest in one day so far
im trying to see if i need to bring extra fuel or not.
ive looked at the... rotopacks? but they are pretty pricy especialy if i dont need them
