For anyone that has never attended this , I usually stay at the Micotel in Marienville . You can ride right from the parking lot to the start of the Tour . In the evening , riders actually build campfires on the gravel portion of the parking area . Just hang out , tip a few cold beverages and BS to other riders .
The Tour is made up of different length portions of forest roads and sections of trails . From about 15 mile loops to 70 mile loops . Pit stops with food and drinks .
Usually we try to arrive friday to get registered , so we can just ride to the start area and not have to wait in line at the firehall registration area saturday morning .
If enough members are interested , I know of a few houses we could get and save some cash as a group .

Checked The Microtel in Marienville. Didnt have anything available for the dates. Could be wrong but what I found.

I'm thinking about attending. I went last year and it was a very relaxing ride. It's a nice way to end the riding season for some of us.

I'm with Jim, I think the fall/winter season is my favorite time to go riding...

That's what I was afraid of ..... shucks

That's why I wanted a head count in case we had enough interest , we could rent a local cabin . Preferably something we could ride to the event from .
