About ready to start looking, anyone have these?

not sure about the rear seat room or comfort of the back seats on the fj, The honda i can get the quad in, but that can be overlooked.

Dont know about the rear seats, but I have an acquianitance who has one and runs it back and forth to S. Carolina abot 15 times a year. Loves it on and off orad, and thinks its just the coolest looking thing to boot. I always liked em, but not practical for me.

Since I drive a dodge 2500 its hard for me to answer without prejudice lol. Friends have the Fake Jeep(FJ) and they are ugly as hell but are great offroad. I personally don't like the underpowered ridgeline. Oh and for the FJ to carry atv's

I love this 03 Toyota Sequoia we got, so I guess I would buy the Fj. When I think about getting rid of the truck the Fj is what I plan on going to. If I buy another truck it will probably be a Tundra. Yep I kinda like Toyota.

Why not look at a 1/2 ton truck? For the price of the FJ's you can definetly get a nice half ton.

Mcfly is right, 1/2 ton 4dr p/u is probably less expensive than the ridgeline . I would say the FJ or Tundra if you like toyota's. My buddy is a Honda tech and we just discussed some of the current problems Honda is having with some of its engines with the cylinder managment system (VTech). A short description, when it goes into cly management (disables valves for fuel economy) it completely closes the valves in certain cyl's and when the piston moves down a vaccuum is created in the cyl, when that happens oil gets sucked past the rings and into the cyl. these Hondas are returning to the Dealer with no oil in the crankcase! Honda's answer in their tech bulletin is check your oil often because you can consume a quart of oil every 1000 miles.

Have had a 07 civic since new, no problems. Already got a truck, this is in addition to what i already have.

Hey Jim I had to relay this. I spoke to a Honda mechanic, and he said "I would rather have the FJ with no engine, it would still run better than the ridgeline". Just throwing it out there man. It was too funny not to add.

Interesting, I know several people that have ridgeline's that love them, not sure what the troubles about. Our civic has been great, and we will probably keep it as for fuel economy, my truck has almost 200,000 miles, but still runs great. probably not till near summer, and if the truck is still as is, i'll keep it too,

HEY THERE JIM..... BOTH ARE VERY GOOD, HOWEVER THE FJ SHOULD BE ABLE TO TOW MORE THEN THE RIDGELINE ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. THE HONDA IS EQUIPED WITH THE 3.5L I V-TEC VCM ENGINE AND I THINK THERE RATED FOR 3,500 LBS WHILE THE FJ I THINK HAS THE 4.0L AND 5,000 LBS. I DO THINK THE RIDGE LINE WAS A GOOD ATTEMPT AT MAKING A UNIBODY TRUCK BUT IT'S STILL A PILOT WITH THE BACK CUT OFF. GET A TUNDRA 5.7L AND YOU WON'T BE LOOKING FOR A NEW VEHICLE FOR A LONG TIME!!!!
