Oh yeah, there is also another way! Right at the train bridge there is a trail that goes down and under the bridge. You have to take that and go up threw a bunch of fields and then come down next to I80 and cross the river/creek. Or you can take a trail up and over the tunnel and out to the same area where the fields are and do it that way.

That route will bring you around the Grass Flat section and end up on the other side of the viaduct. Parts of Grassflat has been plowed open recently, probably for log trucks which helps avoid several deep pools you would have to work around.

The website doesn't mention their schedule or give an email to contact them.

Its open year rouund 24/7

Have you checked out the 2 riding areas in Buchanan State Forest? Both areas are within 20 minutes of the Breezewood exit of the Pa. Turnpike.

We did try a few trails on State land, I think they are called: Maple Run and Burnt Hill.
