I know of a few friends who went down to SSRT for the winter ride last year. The event went on as planned, but the turnout was light.

Don't you have to be a memmber to go? No membership required on ATVingPa rides ! We will have to get new 2012 SSRT season stickers though . If I remember correctly , they are $18.00 for the year.

Stinkfoot, Ive been trying to get that pic off since you and I spoke. Its friggin embedded somewhere on the site and I cant get to it, Ranger cant find it, and it keeps popping up. Im just really happy there isnt animated googly eyes on it!!!!!

I thought it was some kind od SSRT sponsored ride? I say we just get a group and go get lost! Cel service is pretty good there, and most of us have GPS on our phones, plus the guys with GPS on their bikes.

My cell coverage isn't that great there. If you go to ssrt web site they have the ride listed as there winter ride. Food at noon and also on other web sites promoting the ride.svtb also doing a group ride that day. Looks like it will be busy that day. Mud Duck Tour should also be in full swing that day. I will try to meet all of you that day. What time and area will the show begin?

Hey Stinkfoot, are you going on this ride? You want to be trailguide? If no one else wants to lead I don't mind leading, but it is always nice to follow once in a while. You can't get lost for too long at Snow Shoe, all roads go back to the railroad bed. Dinner rides are always a little tricky, it's so easy to get into riding and be far out when it's time to be back eating, LOL.

Yeah, but there are plenty of good places to eat if we dont make it back for the food. I know of a couple right around the trailhead, and there is always Casanovas, although Id rather eat after loading, considering the time of year, once I get warm I cant imagine wanting to head back out there for a ride!

Not sure yet, i would have to take a friday off to do it, but may need that day for the anf ride, if we hit camp beforehand. I could go up anf saturday morning, and stay at camp till monday morning though, then might be able to do both.

im not big into camping.i got a sleeping bag but that is about it. I'll do fine at the cabin. thanks for the info thou.

There is a group of us camping in the parking lot. We will probally head out between 8-9 sometime. Will keep you posted on our departure time but we'll be there! I hope goods lets me spoon with him!!! If not alltorquedup deffinatly will!!!!

I'm pretty sure the Gillentown Trailhead. Goods said he will be camping there unless the weather gets real bad.

Yep, big bummer indeed. I read that too. I was hoping to ride the connector sometime soon. I guess I'll have to make a trip up to SSRT another time this winter.
