I HEAR YA. THINKING ABOUT HAVEING THE AMISH GUY DOWN THE ROAD MAKE ME SOME STEEL WHEELS FOR THE RZR. THEY SEEM TO WORK GOOD ON HIS TRACTOR.

While oil does effect the price of tires and their increases one little unknown fact is that one of the main reasons tire prices across the board have jumped 30-45% is a shortage of the sap from the rubber tree. YES! You heard me right! There is a shortage of the rubber tree itself! Just check out this link.Rubber Tree Shortage

I stock some 80 tires in my parts departemnt and some examples a tire that cost us $92 two years ago now cost us $121. Another tire used to cost us $107 now cost us $140 and one last one that used to cost us only $80 now cost us $116.

So if our cost of tires went up 35-45% over 2 years the selling prices to customers also has gone threw the roof.
