Dose anyone know any easy way to mount tires on large bell wheels? I got a set of 25x12x12 bear klaws and I'm having a hard time setting the bead. I got the rears on fine but I'm having hard time with the fronts. I've tried to strap them and bounce them but nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

Lots and lots of lube.......

or get one of those tanks that truckers use to set the beads. its a small portable tank with a pipe that blows allot of air in real quick

Ok thanks. I'll try to get my cousin to try it out since he works on big rigs. If he can't get it then I guess I gotta go to the stealership and have them do it.

We used lots of dish soap around the tire and the rim to set the bead on my 14's. I don't know if dish soap is considered lube for tires, but thats what we used. Dish soap, binder strap, and lots of air. Did you take the guts out of the valve stim? I know we did that too. It was my first time and that worked pretty good. I put 9" wides on all 4 corners and the rear wheels were much wider than the fronts. Not sure about the width though. LOL!!

A CHEETAH would definitely do it, but I would be careful as an atv tire usually states not to exceed XX max psi when seating the beads. Cheetah's are pretty powerful and if not used correctly could ruin the ATV tire. I've used them quite a bit but mostly on bigger truck tires or wide wheels.

scott, if you cant get them mounted pm me and i will do it for you at the shop on the tire machine. I just put my Executioners on to find out I need front spacers. lol

My cousin is going to bring home a cheetah from his shop on monday and if that dosen't do it Rrudzi I'll hit you up and hopefully get these things done.

Be extremely careful with a the Cheetah. I watched a guy try to mount a John Deere Gator tire with one. Blew the tire to pieces. It sounded like someone set of a bomb next to use and he was about 20 feet away!!

It says to seat it with 15lbs max so we're going start of with a little pressure and work our way up. Mcfly did the guy get messed up when the tire exploded?

No he got real lucky. You just had to yell at him for about an hr after the incident.
The ether thing seems like a good idea too until it back fires on ya. I used to work at a golf course and shot a golf cart tire through a chunk of plywood. You dont need alot of ether to do it!!!!!!!!

Thats sucks but atleast he wasn't hurt. I just want to give a huge thanks to Rich for getting my front tires one. It took me like 4 hours to try to get the beads set and couldn't. Rich had me come to his shop and it took him 5 minutes to do them. Rich Thank You!

Yeah that machine did look like it made it nice and easy. I put the front wheels on and it looks good now but I havn't rode it yet. Maybe next year we can have one of those mud races like they have on TV.

Thanks and that wolverine has taken pleanty of beatings and still keeps going. She's been mainly sitting for the past few years. Last year i put a plow on it and it worked great with the snow. This year I think I wanna take her out more and try some of the mud holes in trevorton.

Yeah I plowed with mine for 2 winters. We ride more in the winter than any other time of year. That Wolverine was great, never had any problems with it.

It's one of the great 4x4s. It has nice tq and power but not as much as the big bores. I can get around the big rocks and logs better than my uncle and his griz 660. Mine has a pro circuit exhaust, 1500 lb winch, warn 424 selector, yfz 450 front shocks lol, plow, front and rear racks, plus the new wheels. When the NJ off road park was open I was at the atv track and when off a jump and blew out my right front shock. I guess I went a little to high lol.

Its a nice and light 4x4 for sure. Not a big 700, but would definitely hang!

Yeah and now they have a can am 1000C 4x4 lol. They keep getting bigger and bigger. If I want to go fast I got the raptor 700.
