Any member having had a an ATV stolen or knows of a friend who had an ATV stolen may consider phoning the NY State Police (NYSP) in the Rochester NY area. The NYSP in the Rochester area recently arrested a person who lives in the Rochester area for having in his possession a number of stolen ATV's. The investigation reflected the perp in recent months / years had advertised for sale a number of ATV's on CRAIGLIST.com. The NYSP is unable to contact the owners of the recovered ATV's because the perp grinded down the vehicle identification numbers (VIN) on the ATV's. The recovered ATV's or advertised ATV's DO NOT necessarily pertain to CAN-AM's.
