2) Are you staying up there somewhere on Friday night (Crash and I are considering camping somewhere up there)

3) Do you want me to bring any ATVingPA Gear ( will have stickers there) If you want shirts, hats etc, please list what you want so I can order them for you.

I'm in. I'm not staying overnight, making a day trip of it. Could definitely use some stickers for my truck and quad. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing some familiar faces

coming up early on sat. morn. can also use stickers for truck and quad. also available to carpool if needed.

I will send some out to you and you can hand them out at the ANF ride if you would...

Hey Ranger, is there somewhere close to camp there? I am thinking of going, but it's a fairly long trip. I was thinking if the weather is not too bad I would take the camper and just stay up there...

I WILL BE THERE ALONG WITH THE WIFE. bet she changes her mind. If she does think i will car pool with WHFR.

I'M IN!!! I KNOW THAT 8-10 PEEPS WILL BE RIDING WITH OUR GROUP. I'M PULLING THE CAMPER TO THE SSRT GILLENTOWN PARKING LOT AND STAYING FRIDAY - SUNDAY AS LONG AS THE ROADS ARE OK.

How much room is there Goods?

Are you allowed to camp in the lots?

I CAMPED AT THE GILLENTOWN TRAILHEAD TWICE NOW AND ALLWAYS SEEN OTHER CAMPERS THERE. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A FIRE BRING A CHIMINEA CAUSE THE ROCKS CATCH ON FIRE!!! AND IT'S THE RULES ( I GUESS THEY DON'T WANT NAILS AND CRAP ALL OVER THEIR NICE PARKING AREA. )

Camping at the trail head is awesome! We've been there several times.

I love going there too. And let me tell you goods is a good spooner!

Lots of room for campers. Just no hookups for water ,elec. Only outhouse on lot. No showers. But you can't beat the price. Free.

MUD DUCK sat.in the am. quaker steak and lube friday night at bloomsburg.

I've already requested the weekend off , so I should be good to go . I'll try to make it friday night depending on what I'm working friday , but will have to get a room at the truck stop . NO CAMPER . Of course , everything will depend on what the weather does . If the roads get UGLY I won't tow . I do have one of those elavated firepots if you want me to bring it and some dry wood . Just don't let Ranger play with it . He tends to burn lawnchairs when he runs out of wood !

WHFR were you the one to tell me about the gas station near 80 that it was $7 a shower. I don't remeber who told me that, but if its true you can't beat a $7 dollar shower when your covered in mud. LOL!!

Most truck stops have showers. They are usually around $5 and are private. I know when I drove over the road they would give you a free shower anytime you got fuel. So you never know they might give you one if you gas up your truck and wheeler.

Just spoke to the desk clerk at Bestway truck stop . They have 52 rooms and the 14th should be an open avalability weekend . AKA ; ( nothing going on in the area ) Price is about $65.00 a night . She said NOT to reserve ahead because they DO NOT refund for cancelations .

Also , for those that have never been to Snow Shoe . Even if the roads are clear on your way , the elavation at Snow Shoe could cause snowy conditions . Be careful and don't forget to get your new SSRT Trail tags at the sandwich shop near the groceri store .

Sure hope the roads are clear the 13th & 14th . Should be a great ride / gathering ...

This ride is also an event ride at ssrt. Saturday will be a busy day there if the weather is nice. They will be selling memberships at the trail head and probably be some venders there also. Might also have people help with the parking to maximize space. Just some info for the first timers at an event ride. Also for anyone taking a camper they may have an area they want you to set up so you aren't in the way for event vehicles or parking.

Two weeks to go, can't wait to see you all there !!

How can we find out where they would want us?

There is no email for anyone up there.

Ranger, there is a guy over on the zone that helps with parking up there, but we almost have to wait until closer to that weekend. I've seen it before in the winter that they had gotten snow and only part of the trailhead was cleared. Some guy in a van got stuck when he got off the plowed area.

Don't worry Ranger . We're used to getting you UNSTUCK at events......

The times ive been there during an event the campers are all parked down by the yellow railing at the lower side of the parking area. Venders and such at the higher side. This is how it is during the warm weather events. This will be my first winter ride so I could be wrong.......

As for Rick... Crash actually got it stuck, I just was getting it unsticked !

If I remember correctly I think the Rhino got stuck at about the same time that Crash had someone's Grizzly laying on it's side on a straightaway with no obstacles in his way.....

I heard a very Similar story about this. I believe Ranger was on the Grizzly and Crash was in the Rhino, when Crash informed Ranger of the stuckedness on the Rhino, ranger laughed and said OK your Grizzly is on its side over there!, or something. I was drinking Whiskey when I heard it, but the bottle was over half full so I trust the memory!!

Then , when a certain Rhino driver found that I would ( SO GENEROUSLY ) save him from the owner of said Rhino finding it stuck , he just could.nt contain himself .....

Yeah i was riding the grizz. Ranger was in my rhino. He got scared when a snowmobile came up behind him. Closed his eyes and went in the ditch haha
