Ok, I got my permit, now where to ride? Does anyone park at the 901 pub and ride from there? If so, how far can you ride? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have parked at the pub many times over the years. Just make sure to park in the small field behind the house that is behind the pub. Do not park in the stone lot or they will ask you to move. They try to keep that lot open for trucks to park. If you go up the small road right next to the pub you will see what I meen. Back in and try your best to leave as much room for others as you can. It gets tight.

In addition you can park off Burma rd in St clair, off Dark water rd and the areas in Treverton that I am not familiar with but plenty of guys will help you with. Check out Coal COuntry Riders website as well if you need some more help although many of those guys are on here as well

For the parents of kids under the age of 16 who ride Reading Anthracite and need a training certificate. I have Motorcycle Safety Foundation DirtBike and DCNR ATV Youth Safety classes in March and April. They are 5 hour classes that cover all types of riding and are required for kids to ride Reading Anthracite. The March DirtBike class already has 3 students with the limit of 8. All 3 kids are riders and need the certificate for this purpose so this is not a class for beginners. The April ATV class has 1 experienced student. All ATV classes are held on the 2nd Saturday and the Dirt Bike classes are the 4th Saturday of every month, for information call me @ 717-532-6439 and sign up.

u can ride real far from the 901 pub just take some gas with u you can ride to Trevorton if u take the right trails or white haven / freeland and so on there are a few gas stops on the way too

81 North to Minersville Exit, 901 South
Pub is half mile from 81 on your right.
Do not park in lot at pub to ride.There is
a lot behind pub park close it gets full.
Do not ride on any roads in this area,only
cross over.Local cop has been around lately....
