So I got the snorkel together I just need to extend the breather lines and paint the pvc. I didn't want something permanent so I was able to make it where I can take it apart pretty fast and I didn't cut the plastic.

My buddy does the same thing with the weights for plowing snow.

The weights are for plowing. The reason its up high is since its right above the wheel I was worried about the tire throwing junk up and getting sucked in. I have the 450 shocks on it now and I'm gonna put my raptor shocks on it to lift it up. I know it dosnt have the power like the big 4X4s but its a lot lighter so I can get though the rough stuff a lot easier.

Hows it run? I remember on a Arctic Cat website that guys with the 400's had to rejet the carb if they ran 2" PVC. Is that 2"? Looks big in the pics for 1 1/2" PVC.

I havn't had it out of the garage yet. I did start it up and it ran fine. It's mostly 2" but off the top of the box it's 1 1/2 for about a foot then I went to 2" due to the bends and lenth of pipe I used. I couldn't use all 2" cause I couldn't fine 2" flexable pipe.

Make sure you take every electrical connection on that wheeler and put dialectric grease inside of them and plug em back together. Water + electrical = Disaster. Trust me. Other than that you got your basis covered.

I still have to extend the breathers but I'll check the plugs I can get too. Did your plugs have the rubber gaskets on them?

I know you built it so it is easy to remove and add, but have you ever bounced the front so hard, it got close enough to rip the pipe out? If the tire catches it going over a serious rock, it may rid it righ out. Other than that it definitely will keep the H2O out of your carb.

Yeah, If the tire came up and hit it hard enough it would probably break a few things.

I don't think the tire will hit it. The raptor shock raised it so I don't thing it will come close to it. Plus the bunges will give a little too if something did hit it.
