Well finally got it all together. I couldnt be more happy with everything that I got. This thing rocks. I knew this was going to be a fun gun, but it exceeded my expectations then fold. For anyone thinking of getting an AR style gun, BUILD IT!!! So much more satisfaction when you pull the trigger for the first time. You can get every individual piece to your liking. No more buying an off the shelf model and modding it up (although I have nothing against that). Here is the build sheet (may not mean anything to some people though) - Spikes Tactical Lower - Stag Arms Lower Parts Kit (had a DPMS but took it out and sold it. Trigger was a little funky for me) - DPMS 6 way adjustable stock - Spikes Tactical Upper Receiver - Spikes Tactical 1:7 Twist Chrome lined barrell - Spikes heavy Duty Buffer Kit - Spikes NiBoron Bolt and Carrier Group - Magpul MOE handguard and folding rear backup sight - TruGlo 2x42 Adjustable Red Dot - Alot more little details but that is that major stuff
PICS!!!!!!
Sighted it in a 50 yards. Took 10 rounds to bring it in. Here is a little aftermath with some fun we had.....heheheh (tannerite rules)
1/2 lb of tannerite is some wicked stuff....lol

Thats all the longer my property allowed me to do safely. I'll get it at the range and zero it again. I plan on trying 500 yds with it sometime in the future. The gun club I belong to has metal plates out to 600 yards.

I am planning on building another upper to go with this gun after I get used to it. I want to get a 20" match barrel from either Larue or Noveske and dedicate that upper to the long range stuff. Probably go with a 25X or 30X scope. I would like to have one for intermediate and another for distance. I just got this red dot cause with the money I spent on building it and tools, I wanted to hold off on buying some good glass. Once the wallet gets a little heavier, I am planning on getting something decent. This was cheap enough that if it breaks, im not out a ton of cash. One guy that is with me has the Mil Dot and that thing is sweet. The other guy that built one the same time I did bought a Trijicon ACOG. That thing is friggin saaawwwwweeeett. 1400 bux for the scope though
