A buddy and I drove out to Mahanoy City to see the wind farm and get some pics of the windmills while the sun was going down. My buddy is realy into photography and just wanted me to go along to keep him company! LOL!! Anyhow what a beautiful area. I was wondering if you can get to this by quad or cRaZR4? I told him I have seen pics of guys with there quads near these and maybe this summer the kids, him, and I could ride out to these. I set a way point where he parked along 239 so as that I might be able to find my way there from Treverton if there's a way to get there. Here's some pics I got before my battery in the camera died! LOL!!

cool pics, When Irish and I were riding in Treverton with Mayor Dennis he was pointing out some windmills on another mountain from where we were. I wonder if that was them.

I got a feeling they are, I seen the windmills from when I rode with Irish the last time I was at Treverton.

I do believe they are the sameones, and they are accessible, however its not always a great idea, Ive heard that you can get yourself yelled at preety good for being there. I dont know which is accurate, ut I have seen alot of pics of different guys there. I will definitley be hitting them this year. We need an ATVingPa camping weekend at Trev., with the other Mayor and our Mayor to lead us in riding and beer drinking!!

Myles pics are on the far east end off Rt 339 south of Brandonville . The west end starts northeast of Centralia. Yes you can ride to these from Trevorton or St. Clair.
It's an impressive site and awesome ride.

You can ride there from treverton , we've done it . It is quite a ride. We could do a camp treverton , atving tour in spring and ride to the turbines and centraila. Me , goody done that trip a few times , it's awesome!

The coal region classic passed some turbines as they were being worked on. They are accessible from Trevorton though its a long ride.
