Thanks for mentioning that issue DD, here's my plan:
This ride is NOT A RACE. That being said, I realize everyone rides at different speeds. To accomidate that, I urge everyone to use common sense and what I call "gentleman rules". If riders come up behind you, continue at a safe speed until you find a place to pull over and let them pass. If you come up on slower riders, allow them time to acknowledge you and pull over before attempting to pass.
Also, as Steve936 mentioned, the first "hero" loop starts right out of the parking area and is more than 4 miles long before meeting back onto the easy trail. Once we start lining people up for the start, we'll make 2 lines; those starting on the easy and those starting on the hero. Then we will stagger the groups a bit to keep congestion down.
