I know this has been answered already with other posts but i just figure it would be easier to ask again. I read through about 5 pages and didnt see what i was looking for. I live in Monroe county. Near the marshals creek flea market. For the past 12 yrs i have been riding here only to find spot after spot taken away. I want to find othe spots. The only places i have found are like 500 bucks a year to join and they are 3 hrs away. I have 2 kids that like to ride as well. Any local spots. I used to go beind Weis food store before they started up the by pass again. Help me out. I like riding but my kids love it. They are 14 and 8.

John , others can fill you in better on details , but you have a BIG riding park in progress in Northumberland County . They claim it will be as good or better than Rock Run .

Where exatly. Everything i read and find seems to be central to western pa. I dont want to pay 3-5 hundred dollars for a family membership if its 3 plus hours away.

If you wanna ride the eastern part of the state only then get Rac permits, otherwise sounds like you got to travel to the central part of state. LOL!!

riding on state land requires the quads to be registered which they are but also insured which they are not. i not financially able to spend more than 100 bucks per quad per year for insurance.

All you are required to have is liability . My Teryx is only $32.00 a year through State Farm Ins . Unless you are going full coverage ( fire , theft , comprehensive ) then I'm not sure . Good luck .

Dixon Miller State Park is by Pocono Raceway. Have your plates on your quads, there's usually no one around to bother you with insurance checks (although I highly recommend liability ins.) The 18 miles of trails are tame enough for kids -give it a try it makes for a nice day of riding.

I will have to look into that. Hell if i can get all 3 insured for 100 bucks then thats a plan.

state farm here too, 25 each per year

those are some cheap prices through state farm. i guess you guys have other vehicles insured through them giving you multi discounted prices. i called state farm and they wanted everything before even given me a quote. didnt want to give them every drivers info in my house. i just wanted a quick quote. i called progressive and they said its 37 bucks per vehicle. 113 for 3 atvs. they said i get the multi policy discount which would be 3 quads and my motorcycle. my bike policy goes down as well. so right now they said its 62 bucks extra for the 3 quads till my policy runs out which is sept 7th this year. i may do that so i can ride on state land and see if its worth having.
