DS 250 Carb Issues.............Need Help

My Brother In Law has a ds 250 and cannot find a carb for it, or the pump in the carb, or anyone who will admit to making it. It is a Keihin carb, and apparently the quad is not actually manufactured by BRP so no one is helping. Does anyone have any experience with this? He will be joining very shortly, but I wanted to help out and get it started as soon as possible. Thanks Guys!

Hey give me a call at the shop 610 367 0187 ask for Scott. Shop name is S.A. ZIEGLER PERFORMANCE I should be able to hook him up. Oh yeah Shop hours are Monday thru. Friday 800 till 600.

yeah, i found out after i bought my boys ds90x that there are 2 that can am doesn't make themselve. the 90, and the 250. wish i would have known that before hand

yeah, i found out after i bought my boys ds90x that there are 2 that can am doesn't make themselve. the 90, and the 250. wish i would have known that before hand Same here... well who makes the 250 ? Any body know?

From what I understand its an English company called Sims or Simi, I can double check. Even the people at Keihin cannot find this thing in any of their part numbers. I guess they just make the body. Grizz Im callin now. Thanks guys, as usual your awesome!!! Ill get more precise info and put it up on here within the next couple of days.

Thanks BigJim, but the dont offer any parts for the carb there. They show he schematic but when you click on it there are no parts found. Wheelie man, I have a friend who is willing to machine a new manifold that will let you use a different carb with the same size venturi, but it'd be a last resort kind of thing. I got a feeling Ziggy can handle though, If not then its off to the machine shop. Ill keep you guys up to date.
