Is this the Raptor that was wrecked on the MX track at Tri-County? I seen one just like this wreck there, I think the guy was life flighted.

Yes and nothing at all was wrong with this Raptor... except for the Fasst Flexx bars were tweaked and not bent. Fasst Flexx bars are multi piece and therefore, when crashed... MOST of the time, the independent parts can and will move and not bend. Such was the case with this crash.

And no, my brother was not life flighted out of there. He broke his back, his T3, T5 and T7 were shattered, they fuzed his T2 thru T8 together and since then has had all of he hardware removed and is doing fine.

When there is chance of the injured party having a potential back injury, unless they have another potential life threatening issue, the medical professionals will opt NOT to life flight that particular individual, due to the elevation change, that could potentially cause paralysis. If there is a floating bone fragment and in many back injury cases, there is, this same bone fragment can casue permenant paralysis, if it nicks the spinal cord, when the individual is transported by way of life flight.

His crash was a very slow motion accident and therefore it did nothing to this bike, at all, he on the other hand did not fare as well as the Raptor did.
