I am between two Pit Bull tires. I am not sure which to go with.

Growler? More for the trail?
Rocker? More for crawling?

Anyone with experience with either of these tires? What type of riding do you do?

Good question. These look like bad a$$ tires don't they? I don't own them, but I'm thinking of getting them when I need new treads. They seem to bill both Rocker and Growler as multi condition - which is confusing. The Rocker is supposed to be good in mud as well. Looks like you can get the Growler in 6 ply instead of 8 which might offset some of the steep cost of these. There are some testimonials on the site: http://www.pitbulltires.com/testimonial.php
Found this as well:

But it would be good to hear from some other riders here as well.

I was just talking to guy from Texas up at SSRT this past saturday and he had 2 sets of pitbull tires. One set for his quad and one set for his wifes quad. He seemed extremely impressed with them. I think his were the Growler, I know another guy who has the Rocker and he seems to feel the same way about his pitbull tires. If the price of them ever comes down I'll buy a set. They seem to clean out real good when in the slop, I've seen the rockers in action and they do work awesome!
