We know about 4 seasons in western Pa. I heard there is an RV / ATV campground in the Poconos. Anyone have a name for this place? Thanx

I ride regulary in the Poconos, have a vacation home there. Have never heard of an RV/ATV Campground. Swampcat is from the area maybe he knows.

I also ride in the Poconos, and haven't heard of an ATV campground there. Maybe you are thinking about Potter County Family Campground? Great place. Not in the Poconos, but worth the trip.

The place I heard about is near East Stroudsburg. I know there are state parks near ther to ride at, but I didn'tsee any campgrounds to ride from.

Maybe you can fill me in then on the ( unofficial ? ) miles of trails the Inn owner told me about that are behind the campground ? Have you tried them ? Are they legal yet ? He said he would take me on tour when I come to stay , but I would'nt want to venture on my own without permission , although he assured me everyone in the area rides there .

From "the area" are key words. From what i understand the locals know where they can and can't ride. There are alot of trails in the area including what used to be a golf course. But all of it is private property from what i know. I stick to the DCNR trails that you can access from Potato City, or Potter County Family Campground.
