Just bought a set from a guy on Ebayfor the wifes 99 SP 500.(allsportperformancebiz is the Ebay user ID).
Made by All Balls Racing, they seem to be a sturdy replacement. Cost beats the dealers by alot. Keep you all posted on how they work out
Price plus shipping was $54 for ALL 4 ends!

what pisses me off  is that all polaris's tie rod ends wear out prematurly. I had mine done under warrenty on the 700 5 months after i bought it new. The wifes needs one now @ 600 miles and she don't beat it up.

I used my chain lube on the ends when my quad was new. I am at 2600 miles and still no play yet...and thats with the ITP rims and Bighorns. I think they just need to be lubed up in some way,shape, or form.

I have a rzr and my ends lasted 1100 miles and i ride it hard, i was ok with them lasting that long, i went with some supposedly better aftermarket ones lasted 350 miles i went back to popo ones. My .02

Yeah you can get some good quality parts on ebay...I needed a thermo fan switch and Polaris wanted 96.00, well i bought the same Polaris part for half that price...whats with that?Muddie51

i replaced the ones on my dad's '01 sportsman last fall (they were the originals). they had a little play, but they had that same amount of play for the last few years. i have no idea what the mileage was on them since the odometer (and speedometer) have long since died. i replaced them with a full set from ASR (American Star Racing). they have been there for 6 months now with no issues. price wasn't bad either. i have the MXPro rods and ends on my 660. have had them for 2000 miles now with no issues http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-Polaris...sQ5fAccessories

Just ordered a set of 4 from ASR on ebay for the scrambler, hoping they are here by saturday, looks like it might be a little wet for sundays ride. Have a ball joint to get in it too, might try it in a while, before work.
