Was at Potter County this past weekend. The new connection trail is a bit on the rough side but not bad. You exit the campground to Irish Farm Road and make a left. You then cross route 6 on to Billy Lewis Road and about 4/10 mile, the new ATV trail is on the left. AT that point the ATV END sign is there on the road.
The road leading to Cross Forks was closed a few weeks for a bridge replacement, it was completed and the road is now back open. We did not go down to Cross Forks. We went to Germania instead.
The issue is for the moment the legal riding ends at a state route. To continue on you have to make a jump on the state route to get to the next legal township road. Last year an amendment was passed to allow state routes, or at least sections to be approved for ATV use, so these gaps will be closed legally, it will take some time for the signs to go up and for the sections to be approved. Most cops won't bother you since they know your just bridging a gap, just make sure you have a helmet on or they will pull you over.
Signs recently went up in Gensesse township to show where to go to get gas and food, As things progress more signs will go up but it takes time.
