ok That's a helluva brush breaker! Which bed cover did you go with? I've been looking at the hard tri- folders (so I could still load the wheeler). I hear they leak, so I just might go with the one piece Undercover which is light and removable.

Ranch Hand brush guard . 1/4 in. plate uprights with stamped mesh between & fully welded light hoops . Extang hard Tri-fold . Then Pop-Lock on tailgate for security .

Best part is , everything including Luvern stainless running boards for less than $2000.00. Tell Jeff Rick sent ya . I have a relative in the business that could'nt touch Jeff's prices .

Not that I want to find out , but I could probably bump a bambi at 35 mph. and not have to worry.

Thats what got my bumper, fog light, and knocked both my fendes out of whack. 35 MPH into a 70 or 8- pound Bambi. Sent it flying like 30 yards though!!! Kiara got upset, Erin thought about it for a second, said" ohh the poor deer," then said,"did you see how far that thing flew"

That's exactly why I went with the Ranch Hand . The only thing exposed are my bumper corners where the fog lights are . So I guess if it's unavoidable . I'll have to steer into it for a center hit ... shock rofl thumbs

It doesn't help that todays bumpers are made out of tin. Remember steel chrome bumpers?

Hell yeah, over an 1/8 inch thick, then chromed, and shined to a mirror finish. Now its aluminum foil over a beer can. NO CLASS AT ALL.

Yeah , I can actually grab the top & bottom of the bumper and flex it 3/8 of an inch . As you know , I'm no muscle man by far . They just don't build-em like they used to .
