RICOCHET skid plates are the best thing out there. Don't even brother with anything else. You would be wasting your money. I have them on 8 different quads.

BEST MONEY I SPENT ON PLATES.

My dad busted up the cheap plastic one on his yfz450 a week ago, we ordered an armadillo swinger skid. .250 thick

Milo made mention about armadillo before and said it was good quality

I sell and only use RICOCHET plates on quads and SXS. Just because they never come back with a problem. If they are good enough for the way i ride they should be enough for any one.

Those are nice Zig, but I really like these 1/2" Uhmw type skids and A-arm guards my cRaZR4 came with! LOL!! I'll take these over aluminium any day!

I gotta agree with Myles. Im looking to outfit the whole fleet this Spring and the composite plastics are really swaying me to their side. Every review Ive read has nothing but awesome things to say over and above the Aluminum. Im gonna keep looking but Im thinking its gonna take alot to change my mind.

What's the consensus of plastic on a swing arm/SRA? I was hesitant, that's why I went Ricochet.

uhmv is tougher than the allum. But for weight and strength there's new stuff out called fiber skins. Not sure if they make a arm guards yet but for skids there lighter and stronger. For anyone with a rzr check out UTV inc right now if your in the need for skids. Full set of uhmv for $399 shipped to anywhere in US. That's a good deal.

Maybe we could hook up on a ride sometime down on RAC property when the cRaZR4 is done. Whenever I finish it. LOL!! If you seen these skids and the A-arm guards I bet you would be impressed! These aint cheap factory plastic stuff. The A-arm guards are 1/2" too. They look and feel bullet proof! LOL!! But they are probably heavier than aluminium I bet.

I have heard Ricochet is very good I personally have the Aluminum Products Skids and have been very happy with them and they are very competetively priced!
