ran dixon miller again yesterday (for my 3rd time). This is the DCNR trail near pocono raceway in long pond. I have to say that the place is growing on me. We put approx 40 miles on yesterday in the snow. Although there were only a couple of inches of white, it was enough to take some of the bite out of the trails. Having had an opportunity to explore some more of the trails this time, there really is something there for everyone. Rocky technical stuff, a few open areas with some swampy stuff nearby, a couple of "roadlike" trails to open it up a bit, and some tight woods trails and S turns through one of the pine groves. There are some water crossings and a few holes. Saw a nice herd of deer too.

One trail leading to and from the parking lot is a bit of a wheel denter (Slutter Trail, I think). All in all, it was a good day. They do have a ramp there, however, some bone head was parked directly in front of it all day. I have no idea why since he had a trailer with a gate. He was riding around in the poarking lot with his wife. I suppose I should have said sosmething, but, it didn't occur to me then.

If anyone wants to go some time, send me a pm.

Looks like Dixon Miller will be fun on Sunday- could see about 10in - that should take the bite out of the rocky area
