hello everyone, i'm fairly new here and been reading posts. This is an awesome forum with great people. This is why i love the sport, the trails, the mud, and the people you meet on the trails and in the mud,,lol.. I belong to a club and am an active member.. http://www.svtrailblazers.com/ which is a great club and i agree with having clubs to keep trails we have and to get new ones. I also put on rides in the trevorton and st. clair area and like keeping it simple as well like an earlier post. Just post a ride and who shows up, shows up. There's a website called everytrail http://www.everytrail.com/my_trips.php?user_id=175783 which is an awesome way to share gps tracks of previous rides, check out my home page and fell free to d/l any of the tracks Really looking forward to meeting and riding with you!
If there's a trail I ride it.. If there is no trail I make one...

The ATV Safety Inst. hassome great info. on how to start an atv club. I used their info. to from a club in 1999 and our club is still going strong. We hold monthly meetings. We collect dues. We hold monthly rides. Have a annual club picnic and Christmas party. We have 4 officers who oversee all operations. If you can find a few people who are willing to devote their time to a club you will find that it will almost run itself in time. Our officers meet once a year and set up rides for the upcoming year and meeting agendas ect. We hold a raffle or 50/50 at each meeting and the proceeds go into a petty cash fund which we use to buy food for cooking on club rides. The rest of the funds go into a general fund wich support the our web site and other club expences. If your willing to put in the initial work it will pay off in no time. Plus you will meet people from all walks of life and make friendships that will last a lifetime.

The ATV Safety Inst. puts out a complete booklet on how to start an atv club. I used it back in 1999 to start our club and it served us well. We are now in our 12th year. Contact them for a cory.

Mike I really hate that trend. Trying to wade through the mess of a group or club trying to use FB as a home page is a pain.

I agree, a lot of junk on social media. I am old school, prefer the forum board because topics are arranged and orderly. Our club uses a forum board for communication. It closed to the public though, mainly because of spammers in the past.

Stickers should be in stock around the start of 2014. Anyone who has stickers ordered will get them as soon as we get them in. Thanks for your patience.
